"I hear, Mr. Dawkins —I Heard these before"

As I ended my reading of "The god Delusion" last week, I ran back to make a quick read because I remembered that I skipped everything on front, such as the Preface and its foreword. Much to my gleeful and silly surprise, Dawkin’s "I’m an Atheist Buts", a collection of critical reviews to the paperback edition (on the Preface), were very familiar to me as I have encountered almost all of them before.

The Following below are actual photographs from Dawkin’s book, followed by my little commentary based on my own experiences for each "I’m an Atheist buts"... [Read More]

Deeds Of The Catholic Church

If you are a Catholic, perhaps you should read this. It is a very important that you understand the history and rarely documented actions of your Church. I myself, which I stated in the About Section of this website, am a former-Catholic.

You might be disappointed, offended, or shocked with this article (or perhaps you already know all of these, and are not surprised anymore), because these are (if not all) the most of the evil, unscrupulous deeds of your embraced faith. ...[Read More]

The Funny Christian Show: Episode 1 (Tweet Battle #1)

Last night, I was enthusiastically running about Twitter.com and exploring various comments containing key the phrases, “God Exists”. As I am, I have responded promptly to them that ‘god doesn’t’. There is this one fellow, however, Brent McBay, who astonishingly, just threw back (poorly) weak, irritatingly stupid, ignorant religious spews right after my first hit — but it was pretty amusing — that I had to commemorate it here and show everyone how Christians, who are poorly informed about atheists, swag about these arguments (which they didn’t know are defeated already).

Boy, I wish it was actually Glenn Beck who fired back. Can’t wait to nail that clown in an argument. (Alas, apologies for the viciousness)

Enjoy! ...[Read More]

Science: Why Is It Better Than Religion?

Further dividing the Science and Religion; One is evidently necessary, one has to completely go away.

A lot of Religious Fundamentalists and Apologists – especially the insufficiently informed on the growing contention between Religion and Science – have a clichéd presumption of science as requiring to have ‘faith’ in it. One of the most astonishing so far, is their assumption, “Atheists think they know everything with science”. In fact, there was a time I heard this objection from an agitated religious individual when she tried to argue the existence of a god: “Well, how in the name of Science, and its ‘unlimited knowledge’ can you explain the beauty of child birth? Can’t you see the proof of god in there?” Contrary to that matter, we know that science is a systematic pursuit of knowledge, but this knowledge is derived from a collection of facts that have been proven through rigorous testing and experimentation, most of which were taken from various theories that were challenged, corrected, and re-investigated. ...[Read More]

The History Of ‘IN GOD WE TRUST’ In The U.S. Currency

The government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion.Treaty of Tripoly, article 11 — John Adams
If the seemingly secular Founding Fathers (not just John Adams, but including George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson) would have seen our currency today, they would have been mightily disappointed and disgusted. After these original founders have gone, the U.S. government has been constantly preyed on by pious Fundamentalist who are apparently strenuous of their religious zeal. ...[Read More]

Is The Bible More Violent Than The Qur’an?

“Much to my surprise, the Islamic scriptures in the Qur’an were actually far less bloody and less violent than those in the Bible,” Jenkins says.

Jenkins is a professor at Penn State University and author of two books dealing with the issue: the recently published Jesus Wars, and Dark Passages , which has not been published but is already drawing controversy. ...[Read More]

Want To Know Religion? Talk To An Atheist First

Not a long time ago, an infamous cliché is popular among Religious Fundamentalists and Religious radicals that atheists are just a bunch of confused people who know nothing about god. They assume we’ve never even touched holy books, never knew anything about what they do, and basically knew nothing of religious life. But a recent survey that measured Americans’ knowledge of religion found that atheists and agnostics knew more, on average, than followers of most major faiths in terms of religion. ...[Read More]

Adolf Hitler Is A Catholic —Not An Atheist, Your Eminence

Religious Fundamentalists and Creationists love to use a logical fallacy known as “Reductio ad Hitlerum”, where they imply “Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin, Mao Ze Dong, or Kim Jong Il are atheists, therefore atheism fosters evil”. ...[Read More]

Is Religion The Cause Why We Are Good?

I have few other articles that I need to complete and publish, but I want to skip them over for a while to answer an important point that a pious christian is trying to ask me via the Amazon Book review I made for, “The god Delusion“, a book by R. Dawkins.

Prelude
Are people good only because they strictly follow a Religion? This was the topic of chapter Six of Dawkins’, “The god Delusion”, which he titled exactly, “The Roots of Morality: Why are we Good?” Here is what the christian man in a comment he made in my book review wants me to explain: ...[Read More]

“Kissing Hank’s Ass”

This is a comical parallelism of how religious devotees spread their faith onto other people. Read and have a laugh. This comical parody was originally written by a man named James Huber (YouTube videos are available if you search).

The 'God-Overrating Principle'

Kids of the religious are seem to be unlucky these days. If they’re not being molested by pedophile pastors, or getting married at the age of 13 to their 50+ year old religious founder… The adults are embedding these superstitious practices in their head and making them believe these things are real. The saddest part however, is that these kids carry these superstitions in their minds 30 years later or more. ...[Read More]

The Hamza Tzortzis Delusion

As I was reading about professor Hawking blasting his way onto headline news online, I stumbled on a quite astonishing website of an Islamic Apologist, Hamza Tzortzis, known to his fellow muslims to have quite a track record of debates with prominent non-believers, such as Peter Cave, and the president of the American Atheists, Dr. Ed Buckner. ... Hawking: A God Is Unnecessary In The Universe’s Creation

The “Mind of god” has spoken: “It is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper [fuse] and set the universe going”.  Not a long time ago, Stephen Hawking, a British Scientist and Theoretical Physicist argued that belief in a creator was not incompatible with science.  ... Read More

thank 'god!' My president might be an atheist, too!

Ever since his presidential campaign, Obama's religious beliefs have been the focus of constant, unending speculation.

“Before we get carried away, let’s read our Bibles now,” said the young first-term Senator from Illinois in his speech to Call for Renewal, a liberal Christian group. “Folks haven’t been reading their Bibles!”

It was June 2006, and it wasn’t long before Barack Obama started to draw the wrath of evangelicals like James Dobson for the controversial speech.

Earlier, Obama asked: ... read more
